What Customers Say About Creative EP-630 In-Ear Headphones:

I've owned six pairs of these headphones after purchasing a number of them when they were on sale and having a couple replaced. The color of the water tells the story, and its not a pretty one. The metal clip around the earbud eventually falls off and the rubber protector at the base of the earbud also detaches. I used each pair about everyday and really enjoyed the clear quality and subtle bass. These really aren't bad headphones, they just don't have that great build quality. I liked the rubber feel of the cord, it is long so if your at your desk you can move around pretty easily with them on.The issues:Overtime you will notice lower volume in one of the earbuds. Each pair I've owned had an average life-span of three months which is not that decent. There is no other way to clean out the wax, you cannot open the earbuds.

This is usually due to wax accumulating inside the earbuds. It sounds risky, but the solution I found was to rinse the earbuds with water and blow dry them until the water starts leaking out. I mean this isn't after really heavy use, it simply happens. Just have peace of mind that these headphones have a warantee.

If you are looking for in-ear headphones look no further - the sound quality is superb and the noise isolation is excellent. Highly recommended.

They fit inside my ears well and are perfectly comfortable. These lack a little detail and the low end could be cleaned up a bit but for the price the sound quality is a real value. Voices lack some grain but a kick drum has some punchiness. All in all, I haven't heard many phones in this price range sound as good as these do and are as comfortable. The cable tends to get knotted fairly easily. I am also not sure how long the connection at the plug is going to last but it's still OK after a few months and lots of use. Also, the build quality seems reasonable at this price. I'd buy them again.

For $35.00 there are much better choices out there including Senniheiser, Altec and Sony. Based on the 4 star rating that was given to the Creative EP-630 on Amazon I gave them a try. I have a uncanny hobby for testing earphones. I rated these earphones a two rather than a one because I have heard worse. I was very dissapointed with them. Terrible lows, very little bass and high's were ok at best. I would say these earphones are a notch above the cheapo ones that cost $5 to $15. If you are looking for a good set of earphones at a reasonable price go with Sony, Altec or Sennihesier in the $30-$40 range, you will be happy you did.

I bought these earphones around a year ago, I believe. And a few weeks after that, the right one fizzled out. They were good while they lasted, but alas, they don't have much of a lifespan. They'll easily get tangled, or they'll cling to something so that when you move, they fall out. The three sizes for the earbuds ensure that you have a proper, comfortable fit. Better than some earphones, but I wouldn't say it's one of the best.[Why is it so hard to find a good, inexpensive pair of earphones. The sound was much clearer than my previous earphones.A few months later, the sound got a bit fuzzier. They were great at first. Also, the wires are made of a felt/cloth-like material, which makes it prone to clinging to things.

Not by much, but you could hear it, especially when a track would go silent. Then, around two months ago, the left earphone just completely died out. Other than that, they're okay. *sigh*]
